Hi. I’m Andrea, a poet and author from Bushey.

My background is in advertising, copywriting and teaching.

Before retirement, I was the course leader of the Watford Postgraduate Diploma in Advertising at West Herts College. I am the author of How to Get into Advertising (Cengage Learning).

My poetry has been published both here and in the USA, broadcast on radio and TV.  I have read at The Poetry Society, Watford Pump House and at various poetry workshops.

I enjoy an audience for my poetry and am happy to be contacted by any groups who would like to hear me read.

I recently self-published a book of my poetry, Wonderland and I am also currently working on a non-fiction book.

Membership of Watford Writers has encouraged me to write flash fiction and short stories for the first time. I also write poetry and stories for children.

Aside from all the above, I also enjoy painting but writing is my main passion.
